Circa 1950s Schatz Mercedes Brass Carriage Clock

Item Details

A circa 1950s Schatz Mercedes brass and glass 8-day carriage clock. This rectangular clock features a twisted handle to the top and a cream-colored face with a black floral design to the corners. The dial has black hands and Roman numerals; a second brass dial with a single hand and exposed spring is visible through the glass below. The face is marekd ‘Mercedes 8 Day’ and ‘Made in Germany’. The piece rests upon bracket feet and includes a winding key. The back is marked ‘Aug. Schatz & Sohne Germany 59’ and ‘Two (2) Jewels Unadjusted’.
