Hand-Knotted Persian Serebend Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Serebend accent rug. This wool rug is woven in a palette of madder red, camel, and ivory. It features a dense mir a boteh pattern over a red field. Framing the field are compound borders, including a classic Serebend pattern of meandering vines and boteh over ivory. Selvedges are overcast in red, the rug finishing at either end with short kilim skirts and ivory knotted cotton warp fringe. A tag on the underside is no longer legible.
