A sterling silver flatware set by the Whiting Manufacturing Company. These are in the Violet pattern and feature flower blossom embellished exaggerated fiddle handles. This set includes sixteen dinner knives with stainless steel blades and hollow handles, six dinner forks, six salad forks, five place spoons, six bouillon soup spoons, six teaspoons, six iced tea spoons, two demitasse spoons and six dessert spoons. The serving pieces include a sugar spoon, six serving spoons, a flat handle master butter knife, and a carving set with stainless steel blades and hollow handles. Some of the pieces are double marked for the retailer Buckingham & Flippin. This set is presented within a silver cloth lined storage chest, with a personalized brass name plate.
