Signed and Numbered Ute Mountain Native American Pottery

Item Details

A pair of hand thrown Native American Ute Mountain pottery vessels. Each features bold black geometric shapes to the body and are in shades of white, blue, pink and black with a very high sheen gloss overglaze. The taller vase with a flared rim is signed and numbered to the underside, ‘Ute Mtn Tribe, L Watts, #25.’ The smaller of the two has a low, bulbous form and is signed and numbered to the underside, ‘#13, Ute Mtn. M. Taik.’
