An oil painting on canvas of an Italian landscape by Chell. Signed by the artist near the lower right corner. Presented in a wooden oval frame without glass. To the verso is a ‘Made in Italy’ label and sawtooth hanging hardware.
Condition
- fair; craquelure over entire surface; stretcher bar marks; scratching and wear on frame; canvas has lost tension; dust and dirt on surface of painting; yellowing varnish; bottom of frame cracked.
