Antique Federal Style Mahogany Armchairs

Item Details

A pair of antique Federal style mahogany armchairs. The frames feature backscrolled, spindled crests above tablets with Classical-inspired, gilt-metal mounts. The conforming stiles are applied with gilt-metal foliate sprays flanking pierced, foliate-urn splats. The open arms rest on turned supports, over seat cushions in a teal upholstery. The chairs rise on turned, tapered front legs ring and acanthus accents.
