Vintage Mounted Sevres-Style Urn

Item Details

A porcelain mounted urn-on-stand. This piece was hand enameled and features a swirled pattern above a female figure with birds floating on a cloud of flowers with a small illegible signature next to the decoration. Jeweled gilded areas in relief are present in the neck and base. A pseudo-Sevres mark is present on the base which had been mounted in gilt metal as was the top.

Condition

- minor marks and scratches to finish.
