Antique Empire Style Side Chairs

Item Details

A group of four antique Empire style side chairs. The mahogany frames are upholstered in emerald-colored velvet with gilt-metal mounts and painted, gold tone accents. They feature tablet crests with diamond motifs and medallions above spindled backs with sunburst corner blocks. The seat rails are applied with musical trophy mounts in the center, and flowerheads over the legs. The chairs rise on tapered front legs ending in paw-carved feet.
