An offset lithograph after a circa 1904 oil painting by Charles Sims (British 1873–1928) titled Butterfly. It depicts a woman in a long white summer dress and her son in a sailor suit running with butterfly nets. It is signed ‘C. Sims’ in the plate to the lower right and mounted under glass with gray and white mats in a gilt gesso and wood frame that is wired for hanging.

Condition

- colors are faded to blue due to sun exposure; mats are age discolored.
