Offset Lithograph after Charley Harper "Chorus Line"
Item Details
An offset lithographic reproduction after the original 1967 work created by well-listed and beloved Cincinnati-based wildlife artist and conservationist, Charley Harper (1922 – 2007), titled Chorus Line. The image depicts a mother wood thrush feeding her three babies, lined up in the nest, a wiggly centipede. Artist signature is printed in plate to the lower right, and estate stamp signature is embossed to the lower right margin. The title is marked to bottom center margin in pencil by an unknown hand. This print is mounted under tan and white double mat, behind conservation glass in a matte black composite frame, equipped to hang. A printed copy of Harper’s clever quip associated with this piece is attached to the verso.
