Charley Harper Signed 1977 Limited Edition Serigraph "Catnip"
Item Details
A signed limited edition serigraph by well-listed and beloved Cincinnati-based wildlife artist and conservationist, Charley Harper (1922 – 2007), titled Catnip, released in 1977. The image depicts an orange tabby cat crouched in pounce position, eyes locked on a fluttering mockingbird who has just plucked a bit of the cat’s fur. The print is numbered 1616 from an edition of 2500, titled and signed in pencil to the lower margin; presented under layers of coordinating mat, under glass in a wormy chestnut frame, equipped for hanging. A paper sleeve to the verso contains original insert from Frame House Gallery with information about collectors’ prints.
