An original 2004 abstract oil and wax painting on canvas titled Inner Thoughts by listed Cincinnati-based artist, Susan Schuler. This non-objective composition depicts an arrangement of aggressively executed brown and gray circles layered on top of soft, pale pink and other muted pigments, interrupted by loud, fiery orange and turquoise near the center, edges oscillating in and out of focus. Artist signature, medium and title are marked to the verso. This unframed work is equipped to hang. Schuler enrolled in the Cincinnati Art Academy in 1998 and developed her aesthetic while studying painting with the formidable Jack Meanwell, Kim Krause, and Stewart Goldman.
