Chinese Offset Lithograph After "Harmony"

Item Details

A Chinese offset lithograph after Harmony. This print on paper depicts the aforementioned figure, which is an interpretation of Ming emperor Zhu Jian Shen’s interpretation of what was originally multiple figures joined in unison. Here, we have a rounded, smiling figure adorned in a traditional robe with stamped seals found to the top right and lower left corner of the composition. The print is presented under glass beneath dual-layered matting in a stained wooden frame with a hanging bracket to the verso.
