An original abstract oil and wax painting on canvas titled Thought Patterns III by listed Cincinnati-based artist, Susan Schuler, circa 2004. This non-objective composition depicts an arrangement of aggressive black circles layered on top of soft, pale pink pigment, interrupted by loud, fiery orange and lemon yellow, edges oscillating in and out of focus. Artist signature, medium and title are marked to the verso. This unframed work is equipped to hang. Schuler enrolled in the Cincinnati Art Academy in 1998 and developed her aesthetic while studying painting with the formidable Jack Meanwell, Kim Krause, and Stewart Goldman.
