Coleman Original Gouache on Paper Fruit Still Life
Item Details
An original 1960 gouache painting on board by an artist named Coleman. The simple still life depicts a grouping of bright fruit in a wide goblet sitting on a pale blue surface against a Modernist geometric background in a variety of bright colors. The painting is created in a semi-Pointillist technique created with small strokes painted in a variety of colors. The painting is signed and dated in black to the lower right. It is matted in brown and presented behind glass in a red composite frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.
