An offset lithograph after Daniel Ridgway Knight titled Hailing the Ferryman. This image originally painted by the American born artist (1839-1924) depicts two young girls motioning to an off image ferryman. The in-plate artist signature is seen to the bottom right and the title in French and translated in English is seen to the bottom. It is presented under glass in a vintage wood frame wired for hanging.
