Hand-Painted Enameled Metal Iznik-Style Plates
Item Details
A collection of decorative, hand-painted enameled metal Iznik-style plates. This collection includes five plates in varied sizes. Each enameled plate features scalloped edges and an intricate hand painted floral and foliate pattern in shades of blue, violet, green, red, and orange. The two larger plates also feature small birds at the center of the plate. Two of the plates are signed in Arabic characters to the underside. All plates except one have a metal loop to the verso for hanging.
Condition
- There is some chipping to the enamel. One of the plates is missing its hanging loop.
