An original charcoal drawing on paper by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, born 1957), titled Nude 141. The drawing depicts an androgynous human figure, seated with one knee bent close to the torso and a downward gaze. The drawing is signed in pencil to the lower left and is signed and titled to the verso; matted in black and mounted to black foam core, presented without framing. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati.
Condition
- mat is damaged with abrasions throughout, a crease to lower right and moisture along right edge. Smudging of medium across drawing.
