A pair of offset lithographs After Athos Menaboni Rose-Breasted Grosbeak in Rhododendron Ichauway Plantation and Doves and Sweet Gum Ichauway Plantation. The pair contains an image of mourning doves on a branch in soft colors of green, cream and blue. The pair also has an image of grosbeaks in a vibrant orange and black with a blooming rhodedendrum bush as the backdrop. The images are signed by the artist in plate at the bottom of each image and the title is in the center. The images are beneath a black mat with a black and red liner and sit under glass. The frames are wood with a brown finish and feature backing paper, a metal wire for hanging and Christmas cards tucked into backing paper pockets.
Condition
- one backing paper is missing gallery label, leaving adhesive residue. cards tucked into backing paper are toning and foxing.
