Antique Carved Mahogany Tub Chair

A circa 1900 antique ‘tub chair’, a style of armchair with a raised wrap-around back and sides. It has a mahogany frame with ornately carved floral and foliate designs to the front edges, a shaped apron, and red fabric upholstery. Unmarked.

Condition

- spots of fabric wear near the back of the seat cushion. Piece of carving to left side is loose, included for repair.
