A Mottahedeh cockatoo figurine. Mottahedeh’s colorful cockatoos were inspired by the works of Joachim Kaendler who studied live species of animals and birds the zoos and aviaries of his royal patron, Augustus III of Saxony and Poland. The cockatoo is marked ‘A Mottahedeh design’ and ‘Italy’ on the base.
