Antique Child's School Desks Including T. Kundtz
Item Details
A set of antique child’s school desks including T. Kundtz. The first desk has a metal base with curved lines and a wooden desk top, seat back and hinged seat. The desk has a short groove for pencil placement and a has a small storage area just below the desk top. The base bears the T. Kundtz mark and has a patent date of June 1, 1908. The second desk is designed to be the first desk in a row with no attached seat. It has a groove designed for a quil along with an ink well hole in the lid.

Condition
The piece could benefit from cleaning and shows wear and rust consistent with age and use. There is a small crack between two pieces of wood on the left side of the desk top.
