Vintage Neoclassical Style Dining Table and Chippendale Chairs

Item Details

A circa early 20th century vintage Neoclassical style dining set, including table and six Chippendale style chairs. The table has a mahogany veneer top and a solid mahogany base, with diagonally cut corners and slightly curved legs with carved acanthus leaf motifs. The table can be expanded using the included insert leaf. The chairs have hardwood frames with a mahogany finish, pierced back splats, blue fabric upholstered seats, and square legs joined by spreaders. Two chairs have armrests while the other four are side chairs. Unmarked.

Condition

- the table has moderate scratches and wear, finish discoloration, and one area of veneer chipping to one edge near the center of the tabletop. Light wear to the chairs consistent with age.

- the table, without the insert leaf, which adds 12" to width for a possible total of 74".
