Hand Thrown and Handbuilt Studio Stoneware
Item Details
A collection of four pieces of hand thrown and handbuilt stoneware pottery. Included is a handbuilt hexagonal bowl, having raised handles to one side, and a basket weave impressed texture to the exterior. It is glazed in a semi-matte amber and white finish; marked illegibly to the underside in iron oxide. Also included is a slipcast basketweave bowl having an olive decoration; a hand thrown votive featuring a reticulated star pattern to each side, in an opaque white glaze, and a hand thrown vase. The vase has a bulbous, tapered shape and was made with a speckled stoneware clay and glazed with a feather pattern over an opaque ivory glaze. Marked to underside
