A 2015 pencil signed limited edition artist’s proof serigraph on heavyweight speckled wove paper by contemporary American artist Dan McCarthy, titled Letting Go. This extraordinary print offers two views of the same work by utilizing glow-in-the-dark ink. By day, a small bridge over a canal flowing between two buildings is crossed by a single figure with an umbrella. By night, the space between the buildings glows, and a second figure appears on the bridge, silhouetted in the night. The print is titled and dated in pencil to the lower left and is signed, numbered 19/25, and labeled as an artist’s proof in pencil to the lower right. It is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.
