A pair of books containing literary works by renown English author Charles Dickens. This pairing contains an ex-library copy of Oliver Twist published by Grosset and Dunlap in New York; as well as a 1943 copy of The Dickens Digest which contains four condensed versions of Dickens’ works that was condensed by Mary Louise Aswell, illustrated by Donald McKay, and published by McGraw-Hill Book Company, Inc in Chicago. Both books are hardbound with the copy of Oliver Twist featuring stylized foliad and stain glass patterns on the cover.

- reattached front cover to Oliver Twist; staining/water damage to The Dickens Digest; page discoloration; loose hinges; shaken but tight bindings; Oliver Twist is a former library book.
