Leonard Nez Signed Raku Navajo Wedding Vase

Item Details

A hand-crafted Navajo double spout wedding vase by Leonard Nez. The vessel is made of a light tan colored clay, featuring expertly incised sgraffito geometric designs. The surface of the pot retains dark brown and black patterning which is the result of being raku fired with horse hair. The pot is signed ‘L. Nez’.

Condition

- surface scratches to the bottom. Please note that raku-fired pottery is not safe for use with liquid foods.
