Darwin Monkey Statue Bookends and Statue
Item Details
A set of vintage bookends and a matching, small statue. The statue and bookends depict apes, sitting atop stacks of books, contemplating human skulls. They are made of either earthenware clay or plaster, which is painted a bronze color. The skulls are painted pale gray. The statue is marked ‘Austin Prod. Inc. 1969’. The bookends are not marked.
