A standing Guanyin painted earthenware sculpture. The sculpture depicts Guanyin, the East Asian bodhisattva representing compassion and mercy, with ornate headdress and draped robes. She holds a lotus blossom in her right hand and stands atop a shorn tree stump. Marked ‘Austin Products 1985 ©’ to the base.
