Victorian Revival Statement Necklaces
Item Details
A pair of Victorian Revival statement necklaces dating approximately from the second quarter of the 20th century. The first is constructed of a bar link chain with opaque red glass rondel beads, supporting an ornate centerpiece featuring a bright red faux coral cabochon, with three dangling segments terminating in pierced spheres. This part of the necklace is brightened by six bright red glass crystals. The second necklace is designed of three strands of heavy link chain with a large oval bezel-set faux lapis lazuli cabochon to center, echoed by two smaller versions of the same to either side. Neither necklace is marked.
Condition
- some corrosion to bar links on faux coral necklace.
- minor markings throughout.
