Pair of Signed E. Halsey Prints
Item Details
A pair of offset lithograph prints, after pen and ink drawings by E. Halsey. The prints are designed with twelve squares, containing an image that starts at the upper left square and progressively transforms from square to square, ending in a completely different shape at the bottom right. A print dated 1997 depicts a city skyline at the top left, transforming into an apple at the bottom right. The other print is dated 1990, depicting a crescent moon at the upper left, transforming to a leaping dolphin at the lower right. Both prints are signed both within plate, and in pencil, by hand. They are presented with mats and glass in simple wood frames and are ready to hang. The frame backings are stamped with ‘Transformations’ and the artist’s address.
