A Kashmir needlepoint rug. The field of the rug features a zig zag and diamond starburst pattern in crimson, navy blue and light blue alternating with a zig zag pattern of light blue and gray starbursts. The main border features the same color palette with a repeating tribal flower motif. The rug consists of wool and cotton and was made in Kashmir; tagged to the underside.
