Item Details
A hand-colored unframed engraving of a map titled Chili and La Plata. The map, published by John Tallis & Company, London & New York, is illustrated with several vignettes after paintings by H. Winkles including Travelling Post, The Gobernador, and Water Seller of Buenos Ayres. A decorative border surrounds the map and illustrations.
Condition
- to fair; water stains along the right and left edges; some discoloration and foxing; tape adhered to the top of the print; minor tears at the edges; one-millimeter hole at the bottom right center.
