An original Tuska (1931-1998) pencil on paper nude drawing of two figures. The piece depicts the front of the female with her torso twisted and a male holding onto a post with his body in a curved position. The piece is created with simple strokes and uses darker and thicker lines to create shadow. Also included with the drawing are the pictures that Tuska based the figures on. An internationally acclaimed artist, Tuska is known for his painterly depictions of nudes via sculptures, paintings, and reliefs which are highly sought after. His work expresses the influence of the late Impressionist movement of French artist Rodin.
