A watercolor painting on paper work by Jeanne A. Ocker, a Los Angeles native born in 1922. At the time this work was painted, she was specializing in watercolor and based in the Carmel Valley. Carmel Valley Barn is a sensitive depiction of an old wooden barn and water tank surrounded by tall grasses. The artist has dedicated the painting on the verso of the frame ‘’Carmel Valley Barn’ by Jeanne A. Ocker, 1979/Painted for Marcia Searle (a beautiful person)/With love and best wishes’. It is matted and framed in a simple wooden frame.
