Selection of Stone Figurines

A selection of stone animal figurines. The selection includes an unmarked roaring lion, made of a yellow-tone stone. A dark red figurine depicting a group of seals is labeled ‘Fait Au Canada – BOMA’. A tiny hippopotamus figurine is labeled ‘Devon England – Zenstone Sculpture’. A pair of caramel colored stone figurines include a pig and an human figure on a black square base. A rectangular box has a soapstone lid carved with the image of an owl. There is a finely sculpted black crouching rabbit, a pink mottled stone heart and a gray carved stone hippopotamus. A stylized bear figurine is made of a gray and yellow stone with crystal formations exposed on the sides. Also included is a green colored stone bird, and a pink colored stone hippopotamus, which appears to be signed ‘Amidarius’. The largest figurine is a six-inch reclining hippopotamus, carved from a black-green colored stone.
