Collection of Native American and Southwest Pottery
Item Details
A collection of small Native American and Southwest-style art pottery. Included is a round jar with a tall neck that features incised decorations and colorful bands in black, blue, green, white and pink, with a glossy terra cotta colored interior. This piece is signed ‘P. Etsitty Dine’ 04’. A thick-walled unmarked bowl is hand-painted with a black geometric band around the top and a large flower in the center. A round vessel with a slightly flattened profile is decorated with incisded geometric patterns on a light blue and lavender background, and is signed ‘Mike Nav USA’. The vessel comes with a certificate of authenticity stating ‘Red Earth Pottery Certificate of Authenticity Guaranteed Native American Made’, with the artist’s signature ‘Mary Mike’, and ‘Artist, Mesa Verde Pottery, Cortez, CO’. A round pottery vessel with a narrow neck is incised and decorated with geometric motifs in colors of white, pale blue and red. This vessel is signed with what appears to be ‘SB’.
