A collection of four small offset lithographs on paper after original fairy tale illustrations by very well-listed American illustrator Jessie Willcox Smith (1863 – 1935). The prints included here are titled Heidi, Little Nell and her Grandfather, Jackanapes, and Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim. Each charming print depicts scenes from these classic tales of childhood. The prints are all double-matted in white and pale blue and are presented behind glass in coordinating metal frames with cream finish. Hanging wires are attached to the verso of each.
Condition
- prints are slightly faded with age. Light scratching and scuffing across frames.
