A 1951 Soviet-published English-language edition of Ivan Turgenev’s 1859 novel A Nest of the Gentry (Дворянское гнездо, also translated as Home of the Gentry). This translation of the popular novel was published in 1951 by the Foreign Languages Publishing House, a state-run publisher in Moscow. The book is a tan hardcover with an illustrated front cover and features title pages in English and Russian as well as a color frontispiece after a painting of Turgenev.
