A Royal Doulton hand-painted Merlin mug. The mug depicts a gray-haired, bearded Merlin with a brown owl perched on his shoulder, and a six-pointed star just below. The underside of the mug is marked ‘Made in England – Royal Doulton England – Merlin – D6536 – COPR 1959 – Doulton & Co Limited’.
