A handwoven Turkish kilim. This bright wool runner features a multi-hued geometric design woven in variegated yarns. The field features four joined diamond medallions, which enclose ashik Ersari guls, amid a palette that leans toward sunflower, indigo, and red. Borders include reciprocal geometric star shapes in blue and red. The rug has triple overcast edges and finishes in knotted wool warp fringe. It is unmarked.
