A Capodimonte hand-painted porcelain figurine. The figurine depicts a colorfully dressed clown, playing a cello, with a monkey sitting at his feet, playing a set of drums. The figurine comes with the original tag marked ‘This certifies that the capodimonte article is genuine porcelain’. The front of the base is marked with a cobalt blue ‘N’ maker’s mark, along with an embossed signature. The piece is also signed by the china painter to the base, ‘Gaspare’, along with another embossed stamp ‘Capodimonte Real Porcelaine – Made in Italy’.
