A hand-knotted Indo-Heriz accent rug. This rectilinear wool rug features a classic Heriz palette of orange, cream, and black. It begins with a central squared star medallion over an orange field populated with stylized flowers and vines. Spandrels are stepped, with a cream-colored ground. Framing the field is a turtle pattern over black. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at either end with tan cotton warp fringe. The rug is unmarked.
