Portuguese Hand-Painted Ceramic Soup Tureen

Item Details

A Portuguese glazed and hand-painted soup tureen. The footed tureen is oval shaped, with handles on two sides, and a domed lid with a handle. The exterior of the tureen is hand-painted throughout in cobalt blue, depicting flowers and fern-like leaves. The underside is marked Portugal 537.
