Antique Secretary Desk

An antique secretary desk. This secretary desk offers two dovetail constructed drawers, and a pull down desk top with applied and carved details to the fronts. The desk top offers a removable series of slots and other storage compartments. The hardware is done in a brass tone finish and also includes a magnetic closure. This desk rests on carved bracket legs and is topped with a circular detailed molding at the crown. This piece offers a single planked backing marked with a faded tag.

Condition

Condition is consistent with age and shows damage near the pull, and it missing the stretcher. The hardware is contemporary as well as the added magnetic closure. There are scratches and scuffs through out.
