Wicks Organ Company Tempus Fugit Grandmother Clock

Item Details

A tall case clock built by the Wicks Organ Company of Highland, Illinois. The clock case features a split pediment at the top with a center finial. The clock dial resides inside a glass front under an arched molding with turned spindles to either side. The dial feaures both brass tone metal and silver tone metal, and is marked ‘Tempus Fugit’ at the top. The silver tone dial has black Roman numerals and pierced black hands. Below is a glass front door through which the clock weights and chains can be viewed. The clock case rests on a pedestal base with bracket feet.
