1947 National New Yorker Art Deco Style Lap Steel Guitar
Item Details
A circa 1947 National New Yorker Art Deco style lap steel guitar. This black and white tone guitar is furnished with six strings, a plastic pickup cover and a setting control switch; with settings labeled as ‘Hawaiian,’ ‘Chimes’ and ‘Harp.’ The fret board is labeled with multi-color roman numeral markings. The headstock of the guitar is labeled with ‘National’ branding to the face and the model number ‘V1318’ to the back. Included with this guitar is a custom vintage light tone brown hard case, with metal closure and a plastic handle.
Condition
- to Fair; untested. Wear is consistent with age and use. Broken tuner keys and worn edges. Scratch, nicks and chips to finish.
