Vintage Classical Style Dining Chairs by Tell City Chair Company

Item Details

A group of six vintage Classical style dining chairs by the Tell City Chair Company. The group includes five mahogany-finished side chairs and one armchair. Each chair features a rose-carved crest above a horizontal, serpentine slat and a padded seat. The seats are upholstered in chintz fabric with white and blue stripes that alternate with a gold tone and green decorative pattern. The armchair has scrolled handholds with curved supports and the chairs all stand on saber legs. One retains a manufacturer’s label on the underside.
