Brass and Silver Plate Trays
Item Details
A pairing of silver plate and brass serving trays. The pairing includes a large, oval silver-plated tray with etched flourishes on the surface, and high, pierced and scalloped sides with cut-out handles on the ends. It is marked ‘Cheltenham and Company Ltd. Made in England – Silver on Copper 09003’. The brass tone metal tray has an oval center with a raised rim and cut-out handles. No maker’s marks.
Condition
- surface marks throughout; tarnish and oxidation to both
- both would benefit from polishing
