Deras Acrylic Painting on Canvas Board "In the Seraglio"

An acrylic on canvas board painting signed ‘Deras.’ In the Seraglio is a Post-Impressionist style depiction of a nude woman lounging on pillows. Her elbow is raised and her face is turned away. Both gestures draw the viewer’s eye from the shaded interior toward the brightly lit exterior courtyard and to the sea beyond. The work is signed ‘Deras’ and dated ‘72’ in the lower left corner. It is not framed.

Condition

Corners are frayed and there are white marks in the upper right corner. Unframed.
